FileZilla is an FTP program for file uploading and downloading to and from your FTP site, server, or host. The program lets you transfer files and navigate among folders, Web sites, and your computer. This software enables you to perform multiple file transfers simultaneously.
Version 3.0.9.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes. The straightforward interface offers translations in most of the world’s major languages. Caching directories speeds up browsing FTP sites, and multiple secure connection options ensure that you can move files around without concern. Bookmarking comes in two flavors: the Site Manager for all your major FTP locations, and QuickConnect for fast switching on the fly.
The program lets you download or upload multiple files at once from and to several servers. If your bandwidth is somewhat limited, you’ll appreciate a feature that lets you automatically adjust transfer speeds based on the time of day or date. FileZilla also lets you browse FTP sites mid-transfer. The lack of a task scheduler is compensated for, in our eyes, by a powerful filter so you only see the files you need.

DivX has just released a newer version of their codec. DivX 6.8.2 introduced two major improvements over older versions – multithreaded decoding and support for custom quantization matrices.
According to the website these are the new fixes made to the codec:
- When videos that have non-square aspect ratios are moved across dual monitors the aspect ratio is now correctly preserved.
- It is now possible to play DivX 3.11 videos when "Use advanced hardware overlay" is enabled in the decoder configuration utility.
- Custom quantization matrices containing the ASCII end-of-file character are now loaded correctly.
- The "Browse Matrices" button in the encoder UI is now available consistently when the quantization type is set to "MPEG-2 Custom".
- The codec should no longer output licensing messages to the console.

Physical meetings have a lot of downsides, such as the time and money lost traveling to them. Stop the waste—start GoToMeeting , one of the most effective ways to get things done in a group. I use the service for presenting pitches to clients, to go over documents with colleagues, and even to confer with my attorney and review QuickBooks transactions with my accountant. These cyber-conferences let me get on the same page with business associates quickly and make things happen.
GoToMeeting is still a great tool for scheduled and ad hoc Web-based meetings, and it lets users easily share applications and information. It has a easily managed interface. Allows private and group chat, screen- and application-sharing, and changing of presenters.

According to Adobe Systems , Adobe AIR is a cross-operating system runtime being developed by Adobe that allows developers to leverage their existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax) to build and deploy rich Internet applications (RIAs) to the desktop. AIR enables developers to create applications that combine the benefits of Web applications – network and user connectivity, rich media content, ease of development, and broad reach – with the strengths of desktop applications -application interactions, local resource access, personal settings, powerful functionality, and rich interactive experiences.
This may seem like computer mumbo jumbo to some, but in reality it shows how innovation is coming along in today’s technological world. Hopefully this can help in the video arena.
