How To Make Network Marketing Lead Generation Work For You

Posted in Internet Marketing

0

Network marketing lead generation is the most elusive thing for network marketers. They have a trying time creating a successful home business because they do not comprehend their target market. A lot of people who will get into network marketing rely heavily on their upline. The first thing that the new business owner hears is, “build a list of at least 100 people you know!” This terrifies most people and they go into a panic.

Are their friends the correct market? Some may be but the truth is that of your buddies most are not. When you bring a business proposition into a friendship then things change. A lot of people cannot handle that and lots of friendships have been hurt because of it.

So who is your target market?

Well it’s pretty easy: it is someone looking to make extra cash. Here is a problem: most networkers make the error of thinking that “make extra cash” is the same as “want more money.” Everyone wants more money but few people want to make extra money.

You see to make extra cash you have to put in extra effort somewhere. The truth is that most people do not want to make the extra effort because it would get in the way of what they are comfortably doing. Some of the people are wat too lazy to buy a lotto ticket. Would you want to be partners with a person like this? Most likely not!

So how do you get people in your business that want to make extra cash and will put the effort into get it? You conduct an attraction marketing campaign.

Attraction marketing is when you offer valuable information that can help people and this is the biggest key in network marketing lead generation. A quick example would be if you have a home business you could offer an outline of your proven time management system. This would show people how they could manage their day so they can have enough time to take care of their responsibilities plus have enough time to run their business.

How do you get the information out?

Article marketing offers the best way to share your information on the internet. Sites such as EzineArticles and Buzzle will take your article and post them to their site after they have been approved. These sites have awesome ratings with the search engines. So when a person finds your article or post they will click on the links inside the article taking them to your site and hopefully into your sales pipe.

There are more advanced methods to broadcast your information. These techniques are more advance and call for a membership to some very exclusive marketing sites and coops. There is one coop that has a network of about 1000 blogs on all sorts of themes.

This would enable you to post an article to at least 30 blogs. You can have up to 3 links in a 450 word post. So think about the kind of traffic that you could generate to your site. 3 links times 30 blogs equals a total of 90 links pointing to your sites. That is definitely called leveraging. This is just the beginning because these site has some secret weapons.

Most upline and product companies comprehend very little about lead generation. It’s easy to walk up to someone in a parking lot or in the middle of the grocery store and ask them if they would like to look at a “business opportunity.” That’s a huge numbers game that most people cannot handle.

So – do you want to rely on the old techniques or do you want to take advantage of proven internet marketing methods that the IM pros use today to generate the best quality leads for your home business? Sure you do! Click on network marketing lead generation to check out Occupy The City’s marketing system.

Attraction Marketing – The Truth About The 80/20 Rule In Mlm

Posted in Internet Marketing

0

So much is made of the 80/20 rule in all facets of life and the fact is, while it’s never really these exact splits, the term basically means the bulk of effort within most circumstances usually comes from the few as opposed to the masses.

In internet network marketing, the 80/20 rule is definitely applicable and in some respects, causes lots of frustration for business owners. This frustration stems from the fact that from ten signups, a business owner would be optimistic that they will get active participation from most if not all of their prospects.

But the truth is, one or two will take the ball and run with it while the others will lay idle for whatever reason. In an inter-network marketing business, some will build a business, some will simply want to market and sell products, some will just want to use the products while the majority will do absolutely nothing at all.

The question is, should these people have been signed on in the first place? We’re these people found in a hit and miss fashion? The likelihood they were is high which gets back to the point that targeted marketing needs to be applied.

Haphazard Prospecting Methods

Some of the hit and miss methods include the dreaded three foot rule which means everyone who’s within three feet of you is a prospect. That’s rubbish. This is one of the reasons there is such a huge attrition rate existing within the industry.

The problem lies in the fact these people are not targeted prospects. If you have to go chasing down and harassing people to take a look at a network marketing business opportunity then you’re missing the mark. You’re not getting it.

These are the prospects who make up a large proportion of the “80? statistic within the industry. They weren’t looking in the first place; had to be coerced into taking a look at your offer and then you spend weeks even months following up with them to see if they’re ready to join.

The Power Of Attraction Marketing

Targeted prospects will seek you out. Why? Because they’re ready. They’re looking for a home business opportunity. They want to improve their current lot in life and they are going to be receptive to the possibilities.

And when you place your marketing and promotion in front of these people then that’s when the magic begins to happen.

Be warned though, it’s not a given that they’ll just join your business – there is still a lot of work to do but at least you’ve got something to work with. And if you do, these people will eventually become your members of your “20? group.

Internet Marketing: Dead or Alive?

Posted in Internet Marketing

I originally wrote this article for Digital Journal.

We’ve all heard of Google Adsense and the revenue it has generated for marketers and Google. The thing is that Adsense is no longer considered the strong earner it once was for internet marketers as generating income online continues to slow down.

Adsense revenue has normally been generated at its peak by high traffic website owners who continually have fresh content for their users daily. As more users enter the online world with websites and blogs, it makes new bloggers and website owners wonder how they can generate any type of income with all the competition on the web.

Research has shown that Adsense revenue has been difficult to come by for the basic blogger. In a study conducted by Technorati, of 174 blogs:

85% allowed comments on their blogs
33% used Google Adsense
45% generated no revenue
40% generated less than $5,000 per year
4% generated over $100,000per year

The study shows the discrepancies of using Adsense or not. Though there are other methods of generating revenue through your blog, Adsense has become the household name for blogging revenue. Services such as PayPerPost and Smorty offer bloggers a way to generate some revenue by advertising an ad on their blog, but these services can only do so much for your blog.

Is blogging becoming more difficult to generate any sort of income? Yes, but it’s not impossible. There are no easy methods or schemes to reach high amounts on revenue in your blogs, but can a basic blogger ever get a piece of the action in the blogosphere?

Adwords Marketing Is Expensive!

Gaining traffic to your site using Adwords doesn’t always work. When you get your own web hosting services, they’ll probably throw in a couple of advertising coupons to help out the deal. Lots of blogs have Adsense installed and this gives you a huge potential of redirecting traffic from specific sites to yours. However, Adwords is not for everyone. Most of the keywords on "make money online" or similar ones require you to put at least $0.20 per click to activate it.

If you are tight on budget or rather just started to learn how to make money online, then you can forget about using Adwords. If you are an A-list blogger then you can go on and spend hundreds or even thousands on Adwords campaign.

In my opinion, most of the clicks that are coming to your site are just one time visits. You’ll have to spend a lump sum to gain "quality traffic."
